Spiritually Blind, Confused and Dead
Dear Lord,
I woke up one morning with this pain deep in my chest, a burden so heavy caused by years of built up stress, it dropped me down to my knees, arms raised I felt lead to confess the sins of this world. Father, some of us are spiritually blind. Others are spiritually confused but worst of all, there are some that are spiritually dead. I remember watching on the TV not so long ago, the arrival of Pope Francis to America. So many people were in AWE as if he were your son. These are the spiritually blind. Those that are putting their hope in the pope to throw them a rope which will lead them to salvation, but only Christ can do that. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). The Pope has become the “Golden Calf” of this era. An idol, worshipped by those who have lost their way but if they read your word, Jesus already told us that he is the way, and the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through Him (John 14:6). Reciting “Hail Mary full of Grace” are prayers that are misplaced, it’s a disgrace because ultimately they should be seeking your face. Only you can give us Grace Lord. Our gift for seeking your face was your eternal grace through your son who died on the cross to save your chosen elect that were lost. You made him who had no sin to be sin for us (2 Corinth 5:21).
Confessionals and rosary beads are used as a means to satisfy their needs of cleaning their soul, at 1st glance you see this sparkling white porcelain clean bowl but deep in their hearts you’ll discover a black hole because it is empty. We are all sinners Father. For all have sinned and fall short of your glory (Romans 3:23) and the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23). All are justified freely by your grace through the redemption that came by your son (Romans 3:24) but only if they believe in Christ as their savior. The spiritually blind are being led by the spiritually confused. These false teachers, like prosperity preachers are nothing more than wolves in sheep’s clothing. Joel Olsteen can boost your self-esteem but won’t lead you to God. They won’t preach what needs to be said, otherwise their mega churches would be dead. They’re preaching “feel good” sermons Father. These people are nothing more than “Clouds without rain”, blown along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted – twice dead (Jude 1:12). Their sermons have no real nourishment for the soul. Then you have the condemner who doesn’t explain how to be saved but assures you that “you’re going to hell” which leads people to think “Oh well. I might as well enjoy this world while I can”, they don’t believe or fear you, all of their trust is in man, and they seek not your face nor your hand because you don’t even exist. The idea that you don’t even exist to these people means they are spiritually sick but most of them are spiritually dead like zombies without a brain in their heads or a hospitalized patient not taking their meds. These are those that have fully committed and acclimated to living in the world.
Your words mean nothing to them and they are the creators of their own fate. Scientist and atheist are working to keep your word out of public schools which will breed a generation of fools who are non-believers of God. The fool says in his heart, “There is no God” (Psalm 53:1) and I find it kind of odd that our youth are not allowed to learn about God but it’s perfectly fine to spend a little time learning about being transgender and homosexuality, but in reality, it’s a tragedy how badly they want you to just fade away. The world is growing colder and bolder and Christians are being persecuted and slain like soldiers on a battle field because we refuse to yield and be consumed by the evil of this world. Father, your son told us that this would happen. “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first” (John 15:18). He also said that if we belonged to the world, it would love us as its own but we don’t belong to the world because he has chosen us out of the world which is why the world hates us (John 15:19). Lord, I pray that the spiritually blind, like Saul will receive their sight and come to the realization that Jesus is the light that will guide them to the father and give them the strength to fight in this spiritual warfare to not do wrong, but to do what is right and pleasing to your name, no longer spiritually lame and the fruit of their tree will lead others to do the same. The spiritually confused has learned to misuse your word for personal gain by feeding off of the pain of those that are blind and are seeking your name. Shame on them for misleading lost souls. They are bad trees and they produce bad fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire (Matthew 7:19).
I pray it’s not too late for the spiritually dead because somewhere along the way, those poor souls were misled and even though they are the ones who persecute us the most, I pray that you bless them with your heavenly host so they could feel what we feel and testify that it is real and finally understand why we don’t put our trust in any man because we know that there is something far more greater, and that is You.
